Capture, by local artist Marco Cianfanelli. A 10m tall op art sculpture comprising 50 laser-cut steel columns, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Madiba's capture by the Apartheid police, and his subsequent disappearance from public view for the next 27 years.
The columns have been spray-painted with a black etch primer, which will fade after two years, turning the steel a deep rust colour.
